Aldelo For Restaurants® Lite Edition

Scaled down version of our popular Aldelo For Restaurants® software.  This version is ideal for fast food, delivery or takes out restaurant establishments where the only functionality needed is to perform order entry, delivery tracking and cash register functionalities.  

Please note that this version DOES NOT come with Inventory Management, Labor & Scheduling, Staff Communications, Table Service, Reservations, Frequent Diner Program, Gift Certificates/Gift Cards, Store Credits and In House Charge Accounts.  

Upgrade to the Pro Edition is available by paying for the difference between Pro Edition and this Lite Edition.

This product ships in shrink-wrapped DVD case with CD.  Printed user/manager combo manual is available for purchase separately.  However, digital copy of the manual is embedded inside the software.

Aldelo For Restaurants® Wireless Edition

Supplement to the Aldelo For Restaurants Pro or Lite edition software. The wireless edition software allows servers to create and modify table side orders wirelessly on PocketPC 2002 PDA devices.

Aldelo For Restaurants Wireless PDA edition requires at least one license of the Pro or Lite edition to operate.  Additionally, the wireless PDA edition requires Windows 2000 Server or Windows 2003 Server with Terminal Services running in Application Mode.  For proper terminal services licensing, please contact your operating system vendor or Microsoft.

Please note that the supported functionality of Aldelo For Restaurants® Wireless PDA Edition is to create, recall and modify table side orders.  This software is NOT upgradeable to Aldelo For Restaurants Pro or Lite Editions.

Aldelo Data Polling Server

This is a utility to transfer data from the restaurant location to the headquarters site via SMTP (Email).  In order to view restaurant reports at the headquarters, a license for the Aldelo For Restaurants Pro or Lite Edition is required.

Aldelo Gift Certificate Server

This server allows centralized gift certificate and gift card creation and redemption tracking.  This capability allows you to sell a gift card from one restaurant location and redeem that same gift card at another restaurant location in real time, provided that both restaurants participate with the Aldelo Gift Certificate Server.

This software requires dedicated Internet connection (DSL, Cable, Wireless etc) with static IP address at the server.  The client side requires Aldelo For Restaurants Pro Edition version 2.8 or later, with Internet connection.

Great Offline Integration Support

Aldelo Accounting Integrator also works great for restaurants in need of performing accounting integration from POS to QuickBooks in offline mode. You can simply export data to an offline version of the integrator client, then re-import it to an offsite location as simply as point click and select.

Aldelo Accounting Integrator is built for Microsoft .NET platform, and utilizes XML Web Services to integrate seamlessly with Aldelo For Restaurants. For WAN deployment, Aldelo Accounting Integrator also supports the use of Secured Socket Layer for added security.

This suite comes with a set of complimentary tools to enhance the functionality of Aldelo For Restaurants Pro or Lite Editions.

This software is included in the Full Version CD and is available for use by licensed End Users free of charge.

Within the Data Management Suite, there are the Aldelo Database Manager, Aldelo Database Maker, Aldelo Customer Address Importer and Aldelo Database Cleaner.

The Aldelo Database Manager allows restaurant manager to delete wrong orders from database, and gives the ability to reindex the database in case of index failures.

The Aldelo Database Cleaner allows restaurant manager to perform periodic (annually for example) database cleaning.  You will be able to specify a limit date, and any orders prior to that limit date will be removed from database.  Before the cleaning process, a snapshot of the database will be stored for historical purposes.

The Aldelo Database Maker helps resellers create new databases from consolidated databases from various sources.  The Aldelo Customer Address Importer imports InfoUSA addresses into Aldelo Database directly.

SUPPORT & UPDATES

Aldelo Annual Phone/Email Software Support/Update Contract

Although Aldelo For Restaurants Pro, Lite or Wireless Editions come with 30 days of free telephone/email technical support on all new locations.  A support contract is strongly recommended for the end user.

A support contract entitles the end user to receive technical support from Aldelo Support Department in situation where the reseller is not available or unable to provide technical support.  Additionally, support contract entitles the end user to receive free software updates for the duration of the support period.  Software updates are distributed through Internet download from secured website area.
